Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 9, 2026
In the spirit of full transparency — and in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Endorsements and Testimonials") — here's exactly how the links on Arufflednest work.
If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission — at no extra cost to you. It comes out of their marketing budget; you pay the same price you'd pay going direct. Our picks are chosen on the merits, not the commission.
What an affiliate link is
Some product links on this site are affiliate links — to a brand's own store (e.g. via a network like FOSHO), to Amazon, or to other retailers. If you buy after clicking, we may earn a commission. This never increases your price, and it's the main way an independent site like ours keeps the lights on without running ads.
How we decide what to recommend
Editorial first, commission second — in that order, always:
- A product earns its place in a guide on its own merits. No commission rate buys a better ranking — and we don't always rank the brand we earn from at #1.
- A negative verdict stays negative, even when there's an affiliate link on the page.
- We don't do paid placements dressed up as editorial. If anything is ever sponsored, it'll be labelled clearly at the top of that article. Affiliate links are not sponsorships.
How to spot an affiliate link
Every post that contains affiliate links carries a short disclosure note near the top. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored", and we don't use silent redirects — you can see where a link goes before you click it.
Tested vs Researched
We're honest about how we know what we know. When we've used a product first-hand we label it Tested. When a guide is built from research — specs, expert sources, and aggregated owner feedback — we label it Researched. We never pretend to have tested something we haven't.
How to support us
If something here is useful, clicking one of our links before you buy something you were going to buy anyway is the easiest way to support the site — at no cost to you. You can also just share a post with a friend who's shopping.
Corrections
We fix mistakes. If you spot something wrong or out of date — or feel a post isn't being upfront about a commercial link — email [email protected] and we'll correct it.
